AME is a durable medical equipment manufacturer, established in May 2008, Chicago, Illinois, and is dedicated to commercializing assistive products to improve efficiency and safety for nurses, caregivers and patients.  

$360 million per year is spent on mechanical lifts in the U.S., yet they are only used for 20% of high risk transfers.  High purchase cost, slow transfer times and storage are barriers for using lifts more frequently.  The EZRock™ is a low cost alternative that also eliminates lifting and helps comply with “no lift” legislation passed in Illinois and 14 other states.
